Hunstanton unfortunately not always match the name given by the locals - "Sunny Hunny." So in the days when it's too cold or rainy to sit in one of the long sandy beaches, here ten places to visit, and all are near the center of the city.
- Guard Mirador de la Torre. Built in 1907, the tower was a listening post in the two world wars Marconi, and is now a private residence. Location: On the cliffs of Pointe-Saint-Edmond.
- Hotel du Lion d'Or. Opened in 1846 and originally called The New Inn, was the first building in town. Location: The Green, Hunstanton.
- Cross at the green. Origin unknown but is believed to have been given the green in the nearby village of Old Hunstanton at the Hotel Golden Lion was built. This may have been the ancient village of Snettisham cross. Location: The Green, Hunstanton.
- Memorial flooding. The names of 31 people killed in the East Coast floods 1953. 16 of the victims were residents of the U.S. Air Force men and their families. The deaths occurred in South Beach Road, Hunstanton south of the fair. Location: Esplanade Gardens.
- Faro. The current lighthouse was built in 1840 and ceased operations in 1922 and has since been a private residence. A lighthouse was the site since 1665, and the world's first parabolic reflector was built in 1776. Location: On the cliffs of Pointe-Saint-Edmond.
- Shipwreck. Built in 1907, Sheraton began its life as a boat, but was then moored in the Lincolnshire side of the wash to be used as a white ship. In 1947 he released from their moorings in a storm and left the beach at Hunstanton. The ship was sold to scrap dealers and now there are only part of the hull. Location: At the bottom of the cliffs St. Edmund point.
- Chapel St Edmund. The chapel, now in ruins, was built in 1272 in memory of Saint-Edmond, who landed at Hunstanton in 855 to be crowned King of East Anglia. He led an army against the Viking invaders, but was defeated, captured and tortured. He became the first patron saint of England. Location: On the cliffs of Pointe-Saint-Edmond.
- Church of Saint-Edmond. It was built in 1866 and is dedicated to Edmund, king of East Anglia (see above). The church nine windows that represent your life. Location: Church Street, Hunstanton.
- Church of St Mary. Built in the 14th century and restored in Old Hunstanton in the 19th century, the church has a Norman font and a ceiling of oak grow on the farm near Le Strange. Location: Church Road, Old Hunstanton.
- City Hall. Built in 1896, Hunstanton Town Council meets on the first floor, while the information Tourist center occupies the ground floor. The back room often hosts fairs and antiques and crafts, and other events social. Location: The Green, Hunstanton.
